Road to Winter is one of my favourite photos.
For that reason, I went to the same location once again (Souliers in Queyras National Park), this time at a different time of the year: 25th December – yes, Christmas day!!
Unfortunately, there was no snow yet but the difference in scenery is quite impressive. All the orange of the autumn had gone, leaving space for the brown colours of winter. In addition, the herd of cows had moved down to the main village in preparation for the cold and snowy winter months.
I am hoping to go there twice again: one to see it covered in snow and another at the beginning of the summer when it’s covered in flowers.
I will then post the 4 different versions although I have a feeling that the first one will always be my favourite.
Which of the two do you prefer? And do you think that it will be better in any of the other 2 seasons?
